If you entered a start date in the past, you’ll need to enter all historical transactions from that start date through today. When you created your company file, you entered a start date for your company. But even if you don’t have all the historical data in your company file, you can (and should) still keep going with entering new transactions along the way. It may take some time to get everything in there. And as with most moves, you probably won’t do it all in one fell swoop. It’s moving day! Only instead of moving offices, you’re moving your data into QuickBooks. QuickBooks Desktop setup uses an Admin Login for Desktop.Be sure an admin sets up the Autymate installer on the PC with windows 10+ with a single account.Use the chrome browser when setting up the app.The Autymate website also hosts video training materials for setting up your account and installing Autymate integration.īe sure your setup checks off for the following when you install:.Set up the integration with QuickBooks Desktop using an Admin user.Install the app on a PC that runs all the time as the process runs as a background process.Be sure to install Autymate on the computer where QuickBooks Desktop is located and where it can access the QuickBooks Desktop company file.Make sure that QuickBooks is running and you do not have any pop-ups open in QuickBooks Desktop.The integration will run every day after 5 AM PT. So you can observe how it works after you set it up. When you create an autymate, the last import will be loaded automatically. Please do not import the previous day when you set up the integration. If you log in via the Autymate website and see a banner that reads “New version is available,” select Refresh.
